Our Impact

Impact isn't a number we report on. It's a community that's more connected than when we started.

Who's In the Room

Tera Wozniak Stortz, M.P.A. has spent 16 years in nonprofit and academic work, building community and helping organizations turn ideas into programs that run effectively. Her focus has always been the same: bring people in, keep things inclusive, and make sure the outcomes are real — volunteers mobilized, ties strengthened, programs that work because the people they're for helped build them.

Megan Smith Jovanovic, Esq. brings 14 years across strategic planning, fund development, and program design — plus a background as a licensed attorney, which means she brings both sharp analysis and real advocacy to the table. Her work has moved significant grant funding and capital campaigns, and centered diversity, equity, and inclusion the whole way through.

Equity Isn't a Value We List — It's Who's In the Room

We center the communities too often left out of the room: gender diversity, racial equity, accessibility — not as checkboxes, but as the actual people whose expertise shapes the work. Megan served as interim co-executive director at a Black, Brown, and Queer-founded arts nonprofit, leading fundraising for a $9M mixed-use facility designed with community input from the ground up. Tera manages federal grants that create real employment for low-income communities of color, and helps organizations find the mission that can actually unite very different groups of people.

We Are Your Partners All The Way Through.

We show up as partners in the strategy, in the programs, in mobilizing the community leadership that makes a plan real. That's the whole model: sustainable growth built through collaboration.

What This Has Looked Like

  • Strategic planning, board development, and organization-wide rebuilding for immigrant services organizations

  • Community needs assessments that shaped grant-making around breast cancer health disparities

  • Programs that brought genuinely different communities into the same room, working toward something together

In Our Own Words

At Momentum for Impact, we don't just consult — we partner, empower, and inspire.

Let's Talk

West Michigan-based, working with communities everywhere. Our services travel, virtually or in person. Book a free 30-minute consultation or reach us at info@momentumforimpact.co.

We measure success the way the people we work with do: not by what looks good in a grant report, but by change that actually lasts. Our team's roots are in West Michigan, and our work reaches communities in human services, the arts, health, and economic development, wherever there's a big idea worth building.
