Megan Smith Jovanovic, Esq. (she/they)
Megan Smith Jovanovic (she/they) has 14 years of experience serving the West Michigan nonprofit, business, and philanthropy communities. Her passion is helping build a more equitable community and helping clients advance their mission and grow their business. Megan’s approach is to gain a deeper understanding of the initiatives and goals of clients, and then to learn and explore together how to build on success for the next stage of development.
Her expertise is in strategic planning, fund development, program development, collective action, and process improvement. She has a particular strength for project design, development and management. Megan is also a licensed attorney and brings her analytical approach to projects. Her legal background provides a rich skill set around research, writing, analysis, understanding your audience, how to advocate for a cause, and how to learn anything swiftly.
Megan has secured grant funding for organizations in human services, social services, health, and arts. She has served clients on projects relating to grant management, grant program development, diversity, equity, and inclusion (including a focus on LGBTQ+), leadership program development, and capital campaign planning. She’s worked for The Diatribe, Komen Michigan, the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, and KConnect where she developed deep experience in outcomes, strategies, data-driven analysis, advocacy, reporting, and organizational development.
Tera Wozniak Stortz, M.P.A (she/her)
With 16 years experience working with nonprofit organizations and in academia, Tera Wozniak Stortz (she/her) is your unwavering ally in the realms of community building, program development, grant writing, membership engagement, talent development, and volunteer mobilization. Her passions lie in uniting individuals behind your cause, nurturing inclusivity, and aiding nonprofit organizations in constructing programs that yield the greatest possible impact for their mission. Tera has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and has worked with many nonprofit organizations and foundations on program development, marketing, fundraising, and community building over the last two decades. Some of her past clients have included the Women’s Resource Center, Amplify GR, Grand Rapids Community Foundation, Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy, YNPN Grand Rapids, Creative Youth Center, ARC of Allegan County, and Children’s Advocacy Center.
